Position Title: Financial Accountant (Full time)
Department: Finance
Reports to: Finance Manager

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a full time opportunity with the potential to grow and excel within the Finance Department.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all aspects of accounts payable including invoice entry, preparing payments, applying for accounts, liaising with suppliers

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date

Maintain vendor files
-
Manage accounts receivable collection, setup new accounts and liaise with customers

Bank Reconciliations / General Ledger Reconciliations
-
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
-
Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.

Handle all creditor enquiries
-
Set up of new vendors
-
Track expenses and process expense claims
-
Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
-
Take ownership of Accruals
-
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Analysis of revenue and expense
-
Produce monthly reports
-
Month end closing
-
Provide supporting documentation for auditors
-
Play an active role in upcoming efficiency projects
-
Process improvements and value ad projects
-
Assist in ad hoc duties as required

Meet all deadlines set locally and by Group

Maintain confidentiality of organizational information

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Great attitude

Willing to do what it takes to get the job done

Minimum 3 years of experience within a similar role
-
Experience with Concur highly advantageous.

Navision experience or similar experience of a retail ERP such as Great Plains – preferred but not required
